Can I 'paint' my silver man-made material strappy sandals purple? I need them for a wedding. Don't have $$
It is hard to find dyables my size ladies 12. I need a 'victorian' purple on my shoes. I have a size 12 silver manmade material shoe. Is there a special 'fabric' paint I can use on them without them cracking, etc that won't look icky? Going to the Grand Canyon for an outside wedding. Can hardly afford the trip, much less buying everything to be standing up!!!

I would try a permanent marker, like a Sharpie. They come in lots of colors. They make one that is a highlighter and has some transparency to it. So you can show the silver shine through the color if you want to.
That stuff seems to stick on everything and stay forever. I believe it would bond with plastics and vinyl.
I got my set at Office Depot.
